Bursaries and Golden Hellos for graduates to teach English and maths

The Education and Training Foundation is leading a recruitment drive for trainee teachers to cope with the demand from 16 year-olds who have not achieved a grade C or above in maths and English. From September, 16 year-olds must continue with these subjects to gain these qualifications or improve their grades. The Foundation is looking for graduates who have a degree in those subjects or related areas and is offering bursaries and 'golden hellos' to suitably qualified graduates. More information can be found on the FE Advice website.
