Disability Policy

Redbridge Institute of Adult Education is committed in providing a wide range of high quality educational opportunities in order that all adults can enhance their aspirations and health and wellbeing on a fair and equitable basis.

- Work to create an environment where learners feel safe, respected and listened to regardless of their background or personal attributes.
- Recognise and celebrate individual differences.
- Prevent and directly challenge any discrimination or unfair treatment.
- Identify areas of inequality of opportunity and put in place actions to address them.

Data Protection
Redbridge Institute collects information about all staff, students and suppliers for administrative, academic, pastoral, health & safety and marketing reasons and does pass on information to some third parties in relation to its business. Full details are given on the back of each enrolment form.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we need your consent before we can use your personal data. Most of our courses are funded by Government agencies. This subsidy will not be paid if we do not process information about you in the format required by the Government. Therefore, if you do not complete your enrolment form in full and provide your signature, we cannot accept your enrolment.
