We had so many requests for visits following our Outstanding inspection outcome last term we invited other ACL providers to our Journey to Outstanding event. Over 80 people attended from 45 Adult Education services from all over the UK. Our Governors, managers and staff did a fantastic job preparing displays and then leading on 8 separate workshops covering all aspects of our delivery:
- Data, Learner voice & tracking student destinations
- OTL process & CPD
- Learning support
- Teaching, learning & assessment
- Employability skills
- Safeguarding, prevent and British Values
- Governance, Leadership & management
Congratulations to all our staff for making this such a successful event and their generosity in sharing and encouraging peers from other services on their own journeys to outstanding. A very memorable day!
The feedback from our visitors was outstanding! Our reputation as leaders in the sector is now well and truly established. The thank you’s for our generosity in sharing and the value of the day are still coming in:
"A big thank you to you and the whole Redbridge Institute team."
"A great day, well organised and full of hints, tips and ideas. You and the team are all doing a great job with thoroughness and robustness."
"I was very impressed with the work of the teachers and co-ordinator in the Employability Hub and the fact that employability is included in all areas of curriculum. I have already planned some of these points into a forthcoming training session. A superb event!"
"A truly inspirational day. Your generosity in the way that you openly shared information, resources and your experiences was exceptional. It is perfectly clear why you are an outstanding provider. It was one of those experiences and days that I will always remember."
