The UK Government has just updated its advice for FE and Adult Education colleges as part of the roadmap out of lockdown. In line with this advice, we have reviewed and updated the safety measures that we have in place on site.
Following some local outbreaks in the Borough of Redbridge, for the moment, we will continue to ask all staff and learners to wear face coverings in public and communal areas, however, these may now be removed in classrooms.
We will also continue to provide access to home testing kits and of course ensure that rigorous hygiene and sanitisation measures are in place. As per previous advice, if you have symptoms or have a positive test result, you must self-isolate and not come into college. The UK Government Coronavirus web pages are kept up to date with all of the latest advice.
General advice remains:
- Stay Safe: Shop safely by following government guidelines. Although there is further easing of the COVID-19 restrictions, Hands, Face, Space and Air remain
- Stay Kind: Remember we’re all in this together so respect others when out shopping and be kind. Shop alone where possible as this will allow more people to also get their shopping done
- Stay local: Shop local, there’s so much to offer in Redbridge #RedbridgeOpenForBusiness
