The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA)

The WEA, established in 1903, is the UK’s largest adult education charity. Its mission is to make education accessible to all adults, empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

The WEA offers a diverse range of courses, including skills for work, personal development, arts and crafts, languages, and humanities. These courses are delivered both online and in local venues across England and Scotland, ensuring flexibility and convenience for learners. By collaborating with over 100 community-based venues and local networks, the WEA brings education directly into communities.
