Redbridge Institute and Work Redbridge host Redbridge Green Skills Summit
Working together to fill the green skills gap by upskilling our residents, and providing opportunities for the growing green economy.
Businesses and stakeholders across the borough came together in the first ever Green Skills Summit hosted by Redbridge Institute & Work Redbridge. Breakout groups debated topics around Greening Homes & Buildings, Infrastructure, Transport, Business and Nature.
“Fantastic event and great to see everyone committed to developing green skills and green jobs for our residents,” commented Will Pickford, Principal, Redbridge Institute of Adult Education.
“This event has highlighted how significant the green skills agenda is for Redbridge. It was great to see the energy and enthusiasm from so many employers, partners and skills providers coming together,” explained Mark Baigent, Corporate Director Regeneration & Culture.
