Learning came to life at the Museum of the Home as our Childcare Level 2 learners enjoyed a visit, exploring how homes, family life and everyday living have changed over time.
One learner shared:
“I enjoyed looking around the period rooms and seeing how people’s homes have changed over the years. It was interesting to compare the furniture, everyday household items and technology from the past with what we have today.“
Another reflected:
“Visiting the museum made me think about how different life would have been for children, including how they learnt, played and spent time with their families.It also helped me understand how much things have changed over time.”
