As part of the 120 years of Adult Education celebrations the Institute was visited by delegates from the Department for Education.
Sinead O’Sullivan, Department of Education Director for Labour Market Skills and Funding along with Janagi Kirubaharan, Policy Adviser, FE Funding and Accountability and Debbie Keenan, Dep Director, Covid Inquiry Response visited the Institute to talk to learners and get their views on education and how it has impacted their lives.
All three of them with very impressed with our learners and the work that tutors and other staff are putting into getting the learners to achieve their learning goals.
They said:
“It was a pleasure to meet so many enthusiastic learners and to see their focus and commitment on developing their skills and education in pursuit of new or different jobs. It was clear that tutors at Redbridge are highly committed to the development of their learners, and passionate about the subjects they teach. All best wishes to Redbridge Institute for Adult Education for the next 120 years!”
