We have exciting opportunities for qualified and experienced, sessional ESOL tutors to join our friendly and supportive team teaching adults at Redbridge Institute.
Courses will mainly be in community settings across Redbridge so you must be able and willing to travel to different venues in the borough. There may also be an opportunity to teach evenings in our main Centre at Gants Hill.
Redbridge Institute has established a culture of excellence and is an outstanding adult learning provider, inspiring over 4,000 learners a year. Learners and staff thrive in our harmonious and high-quality learning environment.
Successful candidates will hold a subject specialism in ESOL (Level 5 or above) and hold or be working towards a PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification). We are looking for outstanding, dynamic and innovative ESOL tutors who have had at last one year’s previous experience of delivering ESOL, including to very low level learners from various backgrounds.
We also have opportunities to teach on ESOL and Maths courses (Multiply) across the borough to those who have basic English language skills and little to no understanding of using Maths within the English language. Applicants do not need to have experience of teaching Maths but must be confident using numbers.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of curriculum and business support staff. There are excellent staff development opportunities.
