What an incredible journey it has been! Our Gala dinner on Friday 14th July marked the conclusion of our 120 Years of Adult Education celebrations. It was an incredible evening filled with inspiration and togetherness as we looked back on our rich history and embraced the limitless possibilities of the future.
A special thank you to the Mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Jyotsna Islam and all the Councillors, Governors, partners, guests, and staff who graced the event with their presence. Your support made the celebration even more meaningful and we are grateful for your unwavering support.
We were honoured to have two remarkable keynote speakers, Simon Parkinson, CEO and General Secretary for the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) and Dr. Susan Pember CBE, Policy Director for HOLEX, the professional body for adult education services, centres and institutions, who captivated us with their powerful speeches on the transformative impact of adult education
Thank you to everyone who attended, shared cherished memories, and wished us success for the years to come. Here’s to many more successful years of empowering adult education together!
