Throughout the year, a range of enrichment weeks provided learners and staff with opportunities to develop new skills, increase awareness of important topics, and engage in enjoyable activities beyond the curriculum.
These included:
- Neurodiversity Week – a celebration of the different ways people think, learn and experience the world.
- Green Week – focused on the importance of sustainability, environmental awareness and methods to reduce our impact
- Mental Health Awareness Week – promoting positive mental wellbeing and encouragine healthy, open conversations about mental health.
- National Numeracy Day – celebrating the importance of numeracy in everyday life and helped build confidence with numbers.
- Volunteers’ Week – explored the positive impact of volunteering, the benefits it brings to individuals and communities
- Pride Week – raising awareness of diversity, inclusion, and equality and the historical contribution of the LGBTQ+ community.
These themed weeks encouraged participation, creativity, and personal development through workshops, guest speakers, interactive events, and collaborative projects. From celebrating diversity and wellbeing to exploring careers, culture, and community engagement, the enrichment programme helped create memorable experiences, broaden perspectives, and strengthen our inclusive learning environment.
