It was a pleasure to be able to honour Beryl Bebbington with a special Governors award for exceptional service. After starting with Redbridge Institute as a student, Beryl joined the teaching staff as a dance instructor 35 years ago – and has been serving our community ever since.
Beryl said “I have loved teaching students to dance at the Institute over the last 35 years and have always given it my all, hoping to pass on the passion that I have always had for dancing to them. Many of the students have been attending my classers for a great number of years and have gone from beginners to competent dancers.”
