Redbridge Institute Recognised Among England’s Best as Learning Provider of the Year Finalist
Redbridge Institute of Adult Education has been recognised at the 2026 Get the Nation Learning Awards following their success in transforming lives through inclusive, employer-led learning, serving one of the UK’s most diverse communities.
The Get the Nation Learning Awards ceremony is the biggest celebration of lifelong learning in England and took place taking place on Wednesday 4 November at The Royal Society, London. Redbridge Institute of Adult Education was awarded as a finalist for the Learning Provider of the Year Award sponsored by UVAC and HOLEX. This award recognises adult learning providers of all types delivering life changing adult education or training.
The awards panel was impressed by Redbridge Institute of Adult Education’s inspiring approach to removing barriers to education and employment through innovation, collaboration with employment partners and integrated support, helping learners build confidence, skills, careers and sustainable futures.
The outcomes achieved are clear: The Institute has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality learning while finding new ways to connect education with opportunity. At the heart of its success is a clear belief that learning and qualifications must lead to progression.
The celebration of Redbridge Institute of Adult Education comes during Get the Nation Learning Week, the high point of the Get the Nation Learning campaign. This campaign aims to make and win the case for lifelong learning and galvanise action amongst employers, government, communities, and learning providers. It’s backed by approaching 250 organisations, including household names like Channel 4, The British Army, and Age UK. Across Get the Nation Learning Week, campaign supporters are raising the profile of the movement and taking action to engage more adults in learning.
Stephen Evans, Chief Executive of Learning and Work Institute, said:
