People sitting in a classroom listening to 3 people give a talkStudents at Redbridge Institute of Adult Education, can now use a new immersive classroom learning experience, giving every student access to live education, thanks to funding received by Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF)

The technology allows sharing teaching resources, collaboration with other adult education providers, enabling real-time access, to a wider skills-based curriculum for the residents of Redbridge. In addition, learners will be able to use the facility for immersive simulations, such as job interviews and presentations, to help improve their employability skills.

“The immersive classroom project, provided for Redbridge through the Local Skills Improvement Plan, has given us a fantastic facility for the residents of Redbridge.  The technology has transformed teaching & learning, allowing our students to access the best learning experiences across the borough,” explains William Pickford, Principal.
