Redbridge Institute of Adult Education is proud to announce a new partnership with the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA), offering space at its Gants Hill campus for the WEA to run ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses.
This collaborative initiative marks a significant step forward in supporting local people develop essential language skills.
Within the context of reduced funding for Adult Skills and squeezed budgets for providers, by joining forces, Redbridge Institute and the WEA aim to build ESOL capacity in East London, empowering individuals and fostering greater community cohesion.
“Both organisations were founded in Ilford in 1903. We share a past, and a present, and I am looking forward to also sharing a future as we look to offer the WEA a permanent base in East London. We are excited to be working together for the benefit of our residents and communities,” said William Pickford, Principal of Redbridge Institute.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to adult education and lifelong learning and sets the stage for a long-term collaboration between the two providers.
