Celebrating Pride Week!
This year’s Pride Week included a series of engaging and supportive activities focused on encouraging open conversations about the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and raising awareness about LGBTQ+ rights and experiences, while highlighting access to local support services for both staff and learners.
During Pride Week, staff and learners took part in a variety of activities celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the LGBTQ+ community. This included visiting an information booth to learn more about support networks and resources, attending an insightful talk from the Redbridge Rainbow Community, and exploring a fun and interactive LGBTQ+ history timeline created by our vocational learners.
The week provided valuable opportunities to learn, reflect, and celebrate individuality while promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
