Redbridge Institute continues to be an outstanding provider.
Six years; a new inspection framework; covid and LSIPs since our last inspection, we are proud to announce that… we are still outstanding.
The short inspection of Redbridge Institute of Adult Education took place on the 24th – 25th April 2024, with inspectors looking at every area of our provision delivered at our centres in Gants Hill and Ilford.
Feedback from learners was exemplary, with high praise for the welcoming and supportive environment and the high-quality training provided.
Tutors also received top marks for their expert teaching, use of questioning and assessment and monitoring of every learner’s progress.
Leaders were commended for their understanding of the needs of their learners, the local area and the labour market, and for being highly ambitious.
Redbridge Institute is the only local authority adult education service in London to hold an outstanding grade, and one of two in England.
