“In the Spring Term the Curriculum Team organised the Redbridge Institute Spring 2023 Noticeboard Competition. Our learners have been working hard all this term designing and putting together noticeboards around our Learning Centre to make the corridors and classrooms look fresh and interesting. These noticeboards reflect what the learners are learning in their classrooms, where they are coming from or what are their plans for the future. The learners’ hard work has paid off and the noticeboards look fantastic.
The Senior Team have now picked a winner which is the two ESOL Pre-Entry classes (BI3001B and BI3002B) with their board titled “This is us…”. The learners with the help of their tutor, Laura Priego-Luque, have each created a little portrait which was their interpretation of themselves and combined it with some text about themselves; where they come from, the languages they speak, their plans for the future and other details. This board is a great example of the diversity in our classrooms and allows learners to get a better understanding of each other.
The winners of the competition received a chocolate egg as a recognition of their hard work and the privilege to be called the winners of the Redbridge Institute Spring 2023 Noticeboard Competition.
