Volunteer Spotlights
This Volunteers’ Week, we were proud to celebrate members of the Redbridge Institute community who are making a real difference through volunteering.
We spoke to several of our inspiring volunteers and Redbridge Institute alumni, who shared their experiences with finding volunteering opportunities through Redbridge Institute and how being an active volunteer within their communities has impacted their growth, helped advance them on their career journeys and helped build their confidence further.

Volunteer Matching Event
In collaboration with Community Action Redbridge, we hosted a successful Volunteer Matching Event, bringing together aspiring volunteers and over 13 local organisations to showcase the wide range of volunteering opportunities available across Redbridge. The event created a valuable space for residents to connect directly with community groups, learn more about local projects, and explore meaningful ways to get involved and make a difference within their community.
The strong level of engagement and participation highlighted the growing commitment among residents to give back, build new connections and support local causes that contribute positively to the borough.
